Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Great place for eating. Touristic menu, with dishes of the Roman tradition. Polite and funny service, good food, good value for money."
"We had a lovely experience here. Shared the Caprese with buffalo mozzarella to start — fresh and flavorful. For mains, we tried the Saltimbocca, Lasagne, and Spaghetti with capers and olives. All three dishes were delicious and can be highly recommended. Friendly service and authentic Italian flavors throughout! Life ambience sitting outside."
"Outstanding Service & Unforgettable Food We went here for dinner and were absolutely blown away. The calamari was hands down the best we’ve ever had—fresh, tender, and perfectly cooked. The pasta was equally impressive, full of flavor and clearly made with fresh ingredients. We loved it so much, we came back the next night during our stay in Rome. To our surprise, the staff remembered us and welcomed us back like family. Although they had sold out of calamari that night, they went above and beyond to get some from another location just for us. That level of service is rare and truly appreciated. Special thanks to Ali, Basri, and Mousa for their exceptional hospitality. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made our dining experience unforgettable. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy—perfect for a relaxed yet memorable evening. Highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Rome!"
"The waiter was working so hard for us to come and eat there. It looked good so we went. He led us to a table outside in the back of the restaurant where it was quite breezy. So we asked for another table. We got it but we had to wait for a while. The situation was quite funny but it’s alright. I liked the food. I took the pasta carbonara and I was pleased. The picture is taken of the first pasta on the menu, the one that is with black pepper."
"We come here to eat every time we’re in Rome. The food is always excellent, the staff are friendly and the location couldn’t be better. Tucked away in the charming little narrow streets near Piazza Navona, it perfectly preserves the authentic Italian vibe and cuisine. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. A wonderful spot for families too, our kids loved it! Highly recommend."
"The restaurant is beautifully and charmingly decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The staff were especially friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout our visit. The food was very tasty. While the pizza wasn’t entirely to my personal preference – the crust was a bit too thin and the sauce slightly watery – it was generously topped with quality ingredients. On the other hand, the carbonara was perfect – creamy, flavorful, and served with a generous amount of grated cheese, which elevated the dish even more. I would definitely recommend this place and would gladly return on my next visit. The overall value for money, considering the quality of food and service, is excellent."
"Such delicious food! Best Cacio e pepe I’ve ever had. The flavors were perfect. We came back another night and I had the carbonara which was divine!"
"I was pleasantly surprised that everything on the menu here you can get as takeout. We only ordered takeout to try the jewish artichoke (fried artichoke style), so I can't vouch for other menu items. The artichoke was delicious. The leafs were crisp like chips that tasted great with the salt and the inside was nice and soft. Although expensive for what you get, trying an jewish artichoke in Rome is a must do!"
